DAY 1
The journey has begun as Discovery Camp kicked off today with a bang! Within the first few hours we broke out of our comfort zones and began exploring different styles of leadership. The true discovery of our personal leadership is now in full swing and the four days of self-discovery that lay ahead promise to be a truly life-changing experience.

Day 2
What a day! Discovery camp hit the ground running again today as we explored the power of the questions we ask and the language we use. Robyn Benincasa jolted the group into gear with her teambuilding workshop. Later in the day we each tackled our three most destructive beliefs while developing our team building skills on the radical ropes course. Today was a HUGE day of personal breakthrough and our momentum is really going strong!

Day 3
The sounds of motivation rang throughout Discovery Camp today! We were inspired by some of the world’s greatest speakers. Marlon Smith, Michael Cartier, Liz Murray and Kathy Buckley told us their amazing stories while offering some priceless advice. Making choices was a central theme of the day, and we were all presented with many decisions that affect our daily lives. We explored the problems with making generalizations and developed techniques to overcome such obstacles. Not to mention, we also took the ropes course by storm yet again! Look out…in less than 2 days 100 youth leaders are about to take the world by storm!

Day 4
Personal action planning has never been so awesome! Today we did a personal evaluation on where we stand and where we wish to be in the future. Together we came up with a game plan for how to achieve our goals. Later in the day it was off to the VA Hospital for an afternoon of contribution and community service…lives are already being changed! The closing goal-setting workshop followed by the farewell dance party will be engrained in our memories forever. As we wrap up Discovery Camp everyone has begun to say their good-byes. There’s no hiding that we have each felt this truly life-changing experience in our own unique ways, but together we now call each other strong leaders.

Day 5- Integration/ Closing
Good times were had by all and saying goodbye was no easy task. Discovery Camp Graduation was an amazing sight, the journal signing party was a memory to last a lifetime, and the friendships that have been made will never be forgotten! Without a doubt we will continue to change the world in countless ways. Look out…here we come!
