Global Youth Leadership Summit 2009
Welcome back to the annual Global Youth Leadership Summit, for another outstanding 5 days at UCSD (University of California San Diego). Ambassadors from around the globe unite together for the common purpose of leading by example through the use of valuable leadership styles and resources.

Arrival Day.
Greatness arrived on the campus today, through small and giant steps made by the ambassadors. New friendships begin to be made with lots of friendly / nervous faces, while old faces reunited. Ambassadors had a fulfilling day at the Scripps Aquarium, shared goals and expections of the event within smaller groups and finshed off the day with a dance party.

Day 1
Energy levels peaked as Marlon Smith made a grand entrance to encourage all to use the power of state management. Kathy Buckley shared her personal life stories and humor to inspire everyone. Teams were created through the traditional GYLS tatto ceremony and board break. Stu Mittleman, Gary King and Anand Chulia enbraced us with many new skills in the evening.

Day 2
The Ambassadors awoke early for an invigorating jog with world champion Stu Mittleman. GYLS team Olympics began with a bang, as the Ambassadors were full of excitement. Shore Slocum enlighten the Ambassadors about the value of health & nutrition and Dave Sanderson shared his key points on leadership, state management, team work and the power of faith. Ambassadors finished the 24 hour truth challenge and Gary King returned to discuss the impact it had on the Ambassadors.

Day 3
Today Ambassadors recognised through the teachings of Marlon Smith the Power of Choices and the affect they can behold. Kathy Buckley engaged with the Ambassadors on how to find the Humor within any challenging circumstance. Teams ended the night with skits sharing with everyone their compelling message of what they feel are effecting their society.

Day 4
Through contribution Ambassadors were able to pay it forward and plant trees for UCSD. Ambassadors soon relised they can acheive whatever their heart desires through a goal setting process with Marlon Smith. Graduation ceremony, recognised all the Ambassadors acheivements and growth and Marlon Smith encouraged them to continue their momentum.
